Hello, my lovelies! I was SO excited to get my hands on the Garnier Skin Active Moisture Bomb Sheet Masks this week!
I had heard great things about them and I love sheets masks as they are so convenient.
There are 5 different sheet masks in this collection. I tried 2 of them and they did not disappoint.
I am going to give you my full review of the two sheet masks that I tired, the ingredients and what I think about the full collection. So without further adieu, let’s get to the review 😉
Garnier Skin Active Sheet Masks
All 5 masks contain Hyaluronic acid to give that “moisture bomb” effect.
Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in our body to provide moisture and as we age we lose the ability to preserve moisture resulting in the loss of plumpness and sagging in the skin. Hyaluronic acid helps to replenish moisture in the skin helping it to look younger and more supple. It also helps the skin to feel softer and smoother creating a more glowy complexion.
I am wanting to try all of these except for the mattifying one as I have a dryer complexion and therefore don’t get shiny. But having such nice hydrating face masks to use is such a treat at the end of a long week.
I was super eager to try the Super Hydrating Glow-Boosting mask first as the idea of having glowy skin was hard to pass up!
I don’t deal with too many skin issues as I am not very sensitive and I don’t break out easily, however, I do get quite dry and I find that my complexion can look quite dull, so anything to hydrate and boost my skins appearance I am all over.
This mask was so enjoyable to try out and I really felt like it gave a great boost of hydration and brightening to my skin.
This sheet mask, in particular, is enriched with sakura flower extract which aids in brightening and hydrating the skin.
Sakura flower comes from cherry blossoms and is known for its rich anti-oxidant levels and soothing properties. It is rich in essential fatty acids and repairs the skins natural barriers to promote a smooth, supple skin. Sakura is often used for mature skin as it is anti-ageing, whitening, and is an anti-glycation agent which promotes collagen formation in the fibroblasts. It has anti-inflammatory properties and can also help to lighten uneven pigmentation, due to sun exposure, by inhibiting the production of melanin. It cleanses the skin of toxins to leave a brightened, healthy skin.
Although one sheet mask will give a quick boost of hydration and brightening to the skin, the best results can be found using this mask regularly, which I intend to do so as they are extremely affordable and are a great add-on to my weekly pampering routine.

The Super Hydrating Sheet Mask – Anti-Fatigue mask was speaking to me loudly so I had to try this one next!
Being a busy and tired most of the time mom, I really wanted to see what this anti-fatigue mask was all about.
The first impression I had was that the Lavender essential oil in this mask was a treat on its own. It really put me in a relaxation mode so I made sure to work with it and have a little spa-at-home night.
Lavender is commonly used for anxiety and restlessness which I know all too well, so if you tend to feel on the higher stress levels end then you will love this mask. It is also used to treat various skin conditions such a acne, eczema and other inflammatory conditions.
I recommend using the mask right before bed to help you get settled down and ready for sleep.
While using lavender for the skin can have many benefits, it can also be irritating for sensitive skin so if you can get easily irritated by products then I would suggest trying this one with caution or try another one of the masks.

Sheet Masks Application
Unlike other types of masks which normally come in some sort of liquid form that you apply to the face with your fingers, brush or spatula, these masks are a sheet of 100% natural cellulose fibre tissue that adheres perfectly to your facial contours and works like a hydrating compress by infusing every part of the face with moisture. They come folded up in their pouch individually and are soaking in the solution.
When you unfold the mask you will see 2 layers – the 100% natural cellulose fibre tissue and a protective blue film which helps to keep the solution in the sheet mask and helps with applying the mask to the face.
The sheet fits very nicely to the face and doesn’t seem to miss any areas that need covering. It sits very comfortably on the skin and stays put without needing to adjust any areas which allows you to do things while wearing it so you are not forced to just lay down the whole time (even though you might want to anyway because it feels so relaxing!)
To apply, you remove the mask from the pouch, unfold it so that you see the face shape and lay the mask onto your face with the blue side away from your skin. Once you have lined up all the areas of the mask, you then gently peel away the blue protective film from the tissue and discard it. You can then adjust the sheet mask to properly adhere to all the areas of the face an let it sit for 15 – 30 mins while it hydrates your skin. After you have waited your set length of time, you can peel off the mask and toss it in the garbage. Then there will be some remaining solution left on the skin which you can massage in for extra hydration.
My end feeling about these masks is that they are a great product to add to your pampering routine.
They really give a great boost of hydration for the skin and are super easy to use with an even easier application and clean up!
I know that I will take to using these regularly so I can’t wait to try the other ones to see which will be my favourite!
Have you tried any of these Garnier Moisture Bomb sheet masks??? Which one is your favourite?
